i have two female guppies and one male guppy that i got form the pet store early last week and they immediately dropped some fry (like most pet store guppies do).

they've been fine and happy in their new home until lately when I saw one of them had her dorsal fin clamped and so I examined them closely and there was a white patch on her side. i don't think it's fuzzy and it's not ick but it's very slightly pink in the middle. it's like a large vertical bar on her side and she has 2 other little white patches on the other side. she is still very active but the other guppy who has no patches and whose fins are not clamped is just resting on the gravel not really going anywhere. i don't know what's wrong with them.

my tank was cycled and had 2 snails and 2 otos in it before they arrived and everyone is fine except for the two females. their gills seem kind of pink as well. if anyone knows what's wrong with them i'd greatly appreciate it!

By "fine" do you mean that ammonia and nitrite are 0 ppm and nitrate is uner 40?

If at all possible I would QT them so whatever it is doesn't spread. Otherwise, up the water changes to bi-weekly and possibly treat with a broad spectrum med like melafix.
