Hi ya'll,
I came home tonight and the two peices of drift wood I put in my tank yesterday were surrounded by a white slimey stuff. I have another peice in a much smaller tank but it's not got the white slime all over it.
I took them out immediately and I'm in the process of changing the water. Not taken any stats yet, will do when I finish filling the tank.
Bought the wood at my LFS and was told I only needed to soak it overnight before adding it to the tank (which I did.)
Does anyone know what that stuff is and is it dangerous???
