White spot not ich

I picked up an angel today who has a rice shaped white spot on a dorsal fin ray. The LFS I got it from treated for ich and other disease and the spot never spread nor changed. They are excellent about putting fish in quarantine and not selling them if there is an issue.(Couldn’t buy rummynose tetras even though they looked perfectly healthy today). The owner wasn’t there and the girl didn’t know what it was. Any ideas?

Could just be a damaged ray fin that has healed. Pics would be helpful.

Whatever it is, it makes his fin heavier. Sways a little harder than a normal fin like a weight is on it.

I can't really tell what that spot is, sorry. I don't think it is Ich so I would just monitor to see if it changes. Maybe someone else might have an idea.
