I THOUGHT WHITE SPOT WASNT A KILLER(especially if it was treated) if anyone can help please answer this question or email direct at maldeany@aol.com(different email, but checked much more, lol) thanks very much if u can help, mal

The first questions anyone is going to ask you here are:
1) what are your water parameters - Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, kH, temp, etc.
2) what is in your tank, and who died

Then more specifically - what was the 'solution' you added?

White spot (ich) IS a killer if severe enough.

First question - what fish are in the tank ( ;) )?
What solution did you add?

Most likely you can cure your problem w/o spending more money...relax.

If you search this forum (front page, upper right corner) for ich, you'll find a bazillion threads on it. Check out the heat and salt method for treatment. Basically you raise the heat to ~86degrees F, and gradually add salt to a concentration of 1 Tablespoon per gallon. You can use regular salt but you have to add it slowly. A tablespoon per hour would be o.k. for the size of your tank.

Unfortunately, if you are loosing fish to ich, you will probably lose more b4 it's cured. :(
