white spots on fishes. plz help!

hello,

All my fishes have tiny white spots on their entire body. i always keep the water v clean. and i change it every 3-2 days. the tank is v well aerated and has a good filter.
one of my gold fishes died. its fins were kind of disappearing by the day. i thought it was a fish attack.. so i moved it to an empty tank. in spite of all the care, it died!
i also lost 2 pencil fishes!!
im afraid the other fishes would die too. plz tell me what is the best medicine against bacteria and fungus. and if u do know one give me its chemical composition too. as i might not find it by just its name.

plz help me! i cant see those lil things die

sounds like ick. go to the articles forum and check out the article there about how to treat ick. the most effective way seems to be raising your temp to 86, and adding salt, but the article will give you specifics.

also - how long have you had your fish? what size tank do you have? how do you change the water?
