I noticed in my tank there is a white (dust) on the plants and on the filter suction tube. It is not on the fish, is it algae or something. Anybody know what it is, I did add 2 packets of bio-spira three days ago.

How old id the tank? did you just add the substrate? when i did my tank I had a white dust on the glass and filter intake..it was from the sand that i added..
