Why do so many people mispell "lose"?

Guilty. Only when typing. I learned the alphabet a to z not q to m...
Plus when I see my typing everything looks wrong.
And as far as to, too and two, its easy for me....to, two and also hehehe

Where's Lila???

:D

LOL!! This has been driving me nuts too! The spell check should pick up algea instead of algae, but most must not spell check.

Also, I am not 100% certain, but I think fry (as both singular and plural) are in your fish tank. Fries come from Mc Donalds. Frys doesn't exist grammaticallly. (Remember the rule of changiny y to i and add es)

Which wise guy thought conjugation is a great spice to language and created it ? If they'd left enough alone, people could just concentrate on communicating and not getting all muddled up with conjugation, spelling and all the 'exceptions to the rule' cases. Some languages just have you add a quantitative word to a noun to specify 'more than one'. Makes life easier. Of course the french has to be smarter and designate gender to every object. All said and done, I do love languages.. :D

My personal pet peeve is people who spell tongue tounge.

I'm normally pretty forgiving too.. but that really just gets my goat.

Are our schools really so bad that people think you can loose something? Loose means the opposite of tight. Lose means you can't find something, or got beat in a football game, that kind of stuff. Its kind of funny how many people get it wrong!
