why do people with pet monkeys make them wear clothes? the only time i ever see pet monkeys on tv, on the web, or in person are when they are in their little dresses and sweaters. i realize primates have the human attributes we try hide with clothes, but so do dogs for the most part. i just dont get the whole idea of it....

i dont have a pet monkey, and i know they usually make bad pets, fully clothed or naked. this thread is about monkey outfits, not how bad of pets monkeys are, and lets try to keep it that way

Lots of dogs wear clothes nowadays
I dont think its to cover up anything as much as it is just to look "cute"
If I had aalt water tank with an eel, I might dress it up as a fish sometimes.

I had a gym health teacher in high school that had a pet monkey she would bring in occasionally they wore matching color jogging suits it was pretty funny looking

i think it would be easy for a monkey to put on a shirt if it wanted too, until i see one put on its clothes and look happy im a nonbeliever in monkeyware

Monkeys are terrible pets, the real question should be why do people keep them as pets at all.

I think that if people are going to dress up their monkeys as people They should wear a monkey costume now that would be awesome
