wierd algae

Hello.. Since I've redone my tank, I restarted using B-Ionic.. It's a few days now, and my tank has been totally overtaken by this type of algae. (if that's what it is). It is almost transparent, and looks like jelly. Kinda looks like mucus.... (sorry for the comparison )

Anyway, my water is also turning white. This stuff is easy to take out, but there's so much of it..

Could it be that I've been overdosing the B-Ionic?

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like a bacterial bloom of sorts. Can you post a picture? That would be very helpful.

I was thinking it might have been a bacterial bloom as well, seeing how the water turned white. Strange thing is all that gooey transparant stuff..
