Even its orange eyes and feelers were there. It sound terrible. But im happy im not the only person this has happened to. EWWW FREAKY!

My first molt was a coral banded shrimp. He left his molt standing on the right side of the tank and he was on the left. My first thought was that he had cloned himself. At any distance, I couldn't tell the molt from the critter, unless the critter moved.

Thats my point. I wouldnt of been able to tell the difference either.Just as you said , like a clone.

Dude when my green emerald crabs molt even the hair on thier leg shows in the molted skin ... I've been tricked before too. Next time squeeze the molt/body and see if it's hollow.

Yep, my dwarf hermits do the full body molt. First time freaked me out as well.

my singapore flower shrimp molted once before .. and everything came off of him...even the fans on his arms :headbang2:
