Wierd bala behaviour !

Ive had these 3 bala sharks for a little over a week now,they are in my 108 gal. They seem to just hang around in a perpendicular position not very active and very skittish,,ive seen some stools hanging from one of them ,so i guess they are eating,,,,,my main concern is the perpendicular positions they assume,,,is this normal for bala's????

Mine do that a lot. They're probably scavenging for food.

What are you ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels.

Balas do weird things. That's for sure. Is that position assumed at bottom level or at surface.

If it's in the bottom, they might be looking for food as PrimeTime suggested. If it's on the middle or at surface level, that's weird.

Bala's normal behavior is to swim fast darting across the tank, even when very young.
