When it comes to some subjects where there is a great difference of opinion then wiki can and does get out of control. Origin of life is a good one. Evolution is another.

There was an entry where over 800 edits were made in one 24 hour period.

As others have stated before, it is but one questionable source of information. In todays day and age you have access to many more sources. Use many and be better informed.
