I am setting up a new 10 gallon tank with river pebbles and live plants. Dwarf gouramis are my favorite tropical fish. I do not want to cause harm to these delicate creatures. Can a 10 gallon tank support 2 dwarf gouramis? Should they be male and female or two males? Can such a set up include anything else like a cory or two? What type of "hiding places" do gouramis like? If they have such places will I ever be able to see them? I had a 55 gallon tank in the distant past at my office but my small home has no room for such a tank and I feel like a newbie again. So far I have only floating hornwort and have added a pinch of food flakes to introduce bacterial activity. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
