Hey everyone...........Next week I am getting my new Compact Flourescent lighting system and will be adding live plants to my tank. However, I'm worried about my fish eating the plants. I plan to have Water Wisteria, Anacharis, and Cabomba. I want to get the real thick look like a lot of you on here have. They are just beautiful! Anyway, the fish I have are:

3 Angels
1 Platy
1 Swordtail
12 Corys
1 Pleco

I'm actually thinking of giving the pleco to my girlfriend, or trying to give it back to my LFS. I plan to eventually just have Angels, Platies or Guppies, and Corys. What do you think?

The Platys and Swords may pick at the plants but it is the algae they are after and not the plant itself. So if you see this don't worry. The plec, depending on what species and how big it gets makes a difference. If it is a commom plec they can be a real hassle as they are clumsy and can uproot plants by just swimming by them.
