(will slowly add these since the tank is still cycling), but I want to make sure first)

The tank is 29G with 4 plants and maybe will do a decent sized riccia carpet.

Currently have:
baby 2.5" common pleco
adult 3" emerald cory
2 baby 1" mollys

Will definately add:
5-6 more baby mollys (semi recent fry)

I know the molly's would like brackish, but they seem fine and the overall conditions seem in their favor.

I would like to add:
3 yo-yo loaches
...and something else for the mid-top water..any ideas?
maybe a pair of golded gouramis?

Tank conditions:
ph:7.4
KH=6°
GH=9°
temp=76°F

opinions/suggestions?

(edit: I wanted 2-3 baby/juvenile clown loaches, but I know they can get large...not sure how long it would take to outgrow this setup)

i think most will tell you to trade the common for a bristle nose pleco. better size for 29g. but the small ones can be sensitive so he may get whacked by the cycling process.

i've had 30 half inch mollie fry in a 10 gallon before. so more the merrier in a 29.

hatchets stay at the top, but require a snug fitting lid to keep them in the tank.

any group of small barbs or tetras could fill in the mid waters. just be sure to get 5 or more so they can keep the aggression in the family.
