Hi
I've had a problem that seems to have sprung up overnight.
My 6" community tank had a lot of wisteria plants, and I mean a lot.
I made a couple of changes, gave the plants a bit of a trim off the top, increased the pH a bit (it had sropped gradually all the way down to 6.4) and I bought a couple of silver dollars, little juvenile ones. About an inch in diameter. And I put one of those natural fleuro lights (same ones used in marine tanks) on top to give the neons a nicer colour.
Within a week, all wisteria plants shed their leaves, only the stems remaining. There are no dead leaves to be seen anywhere and the silver dollars haven't gotten fatter. The other plants (amazon swords etc) are fine.
Who/what may have caused this? Any ideas? Should I leave the stems? They still appear to be green and alive. :wall:
