wolf fish help

First its not my wolf fish its a friends i would never buy illegal fish .But hes had it about twomonths in a established tank his readings are fine o ama nitrite 0 nitrate 20 -30 ish think use to eat tons of feeders that i told him not to feed it igot a mild case of ick and he treated it with salt now it wont eat its been about a week and half What could be wrong i dont now much about these fish so cant help him did it catch somthing from the feeders maybe it cant tolarate salt any help ???
 
Wolf Fish (Hoplias malabaricus) are actually more salt-tolerant than most characins.

What size is the fish, and what size tank is it in? Is your friend still currently treating with salt? If not, are you certain that the ICH has been cured completely?

Based on the little info that you gave, I'd suggest two things. Get the fish on a varied diet. A diet strictly composed of goldfish is really inadequate for these fish; try to feed a variety of raw fish flesh, 'silversides', and raw shrimp. Secondly, try upping the volume of the water changes (as well as the frequency if done less than once a week). I find that my wolves are less listless and eat better with large volume changes.

I told him not to feed just goldfish bacteria infested gold fish its a 45 bow front hes all alone in it .
