Worms (planaria I thought) trying to get into snail shell?

I noticed that one of my snails has two wormy things trying to get into its shell. Will planaria do this, because this is what I beleive them to be. Will it hurt my snailys?? Could they be something else??

My tank is a 15 gallon. I do regular 40 %water changes once a week. I have definitely noticed planaria in the past. But they never bothered my betta. I am pretty freaked out because these are my new babies.

planaria have human implications to my knowledge so I don't like them. I have seen one of my snails with a black worm in it's shell(blood worm) those feeder portion live worms. so I coaxed it out for the snail , no passengers ! Whenever I see planaria I squish it flat without useing my fingers,they make me subconciously itchy.

It is possible that the planaria (if they are planaria) are trying to feed off the snail excrement...Snails can produce infusoria from their poop..These tiny one celled animals would probably be very tasty to a planaria....Just a theory...
