Would you buy?

I would be surprised if anyone else would be willing to pay that much for it. I'd ask if they'd be willing to take $100. They'd probably counter with $200 and I'd offer $150 or I'd walk.

I suppose the market may be different in your area, but used tanks are just WAY too easy to come by in Chattanooga to pay that much for a 75g.

yea, its really nice looking but when I heard it was over 10 years old that made me wonder how much longer it will last. I guess the dealbreaker will be if the stand is in really good shape or if its made of oak instead of pine or whatever.
Do these oceanic tanks hold up for many years?

normally a lot more that 10 yrs but go and see it and look it over a bit, also try it with some water in it.

After reading this I wondered if anyone just replaces the silicone on their tank after time? IF I had the same tank for 8-10 years up and running should I shut it down and silicone it just to make sure? Just asking.......
Has anyones tank just broken due to old age/silicone?

Oceanic has a great reputation but, again -- in this area, a used one just isn't worth that much (supply/demand)
