So I went ahead and added a school of 8 Harlequin Rasboras to my tank. When researching them, I really wasn't in love with them. At the fish store while looking at the Harlequin tank, they looked nicer than what I had seen online. I decided to go ahead and get a school for my tank.

Boy, are they stunning in my tank! Their brilliant copper red color really, really complements my dark tank well. I love them. So glad that I got them.

Highly recommended.

They can be confused with Trigonostigma hengeli which is more slender though. I've kept both. They're really great in planted community setups.

Yep, a very nice looking fish that really adds to most tanks.

Yeah, I've got some, I need to add about 4 or 5 more, they are sweet.

They are really stunning in a school in a low-light planted tank. I wish I had an even bigger tank so I could add a dozen. My 100gal is over loaded...:(

Yup, ignore all those snobbish folk who say: “Common as muck...!” A nice bunch of Long-fin Danios, Rasboras, or Cardinals, or any other species of so-called 'schooling fish' will beat any “Look at Me” stand-alone big fish into in significance – if the evil big bugger doesn't eat 'em first..!

If I had room for another tank, it would be a big planted tank with just 12 Angles and 36 Cardinals.!
