So the agassizii "black tail" female has moved her babies out of the cave and into the base of the crypt plant. When I saw her out and about this morning, I thought she had eaten her fry and given up, but I noticed that she was still guarding something. After staring at the crypt for like half an hour, I saw her guarding a little ball of fuzz along the side of the pot. If one of the fry hadn't wriggled, I would have just thought it was moldy food or something. Wish I could post pictures, but I can barely see them with my eyes so photos probably wouldn't come out too well. They should be free swimming within a few days.
