Looking for wood stand in good condition for cheap. Not too picky on color as long as no bad cosmetic damage. Thanks

too bad your not close i have a solid oak one i would give you thats in my spare bedroom.

You could build one with 3 2x3s or two 2x4s.

Basically build a rectangle under each long side. Then use 4 13" or 14" pieces(slightly wider than the tank width) to connect the two rectangles.

Then add pieces to top to attach to the connectors and go under the ends of the tank. The length of these pieces will be the width of the connectors minus 2 times the width of the lumber you use(note: lumber width is less than the stated dimension).

You can get your pieces cut at home depot or I have heard lowes will do the same thing.

Well if you happen to be near the Quad Cities any time soon let me know. I'm tearing down my 29g setup. I bought the black pine stand that matches the tank. The Quad Cities is on the Mississippi about 2 1/2 hours south of Chicago, 3 hours north of St Louis.
