Might I suggest a search by state on aquabid or checking out the IBC page?...
Wish I had checked there much sooner myself.

If you are in the northeastern US, I can also advise you further as I've done some searches on this area.

already went to aquabid, looking for inexpensive their prices are crazy, ebay has them but they are way too many extras to pay for and i did a search and I would be better off going to petco or petsmart but wanted to see if anyone on here had some!

If you go the Petsmart/Petco route, it seems some people have had some good finds at these places. Sometimes they lucked out and got a HM for delta prices.
Normally a halfmoon betta will cost more then other betta breeds, especially the common veiltail.
