I/we (my daughter) is looking for some fish that she can take care of in her pond that her grandpa gave to her......She has a few ideas but is lost on what to get that will make it out in the heat of summer.... I have been trying to help her out but all I get is Dad you only do inside tanks and you dont know what you are talking about. Pretty nice huh?? She has her mind stuck on Tiger Endlers and Fire Red Endlers......She also saw some purple brag snails that she has been wanting for a while. I can't seem to find any or when I do the auction or auctions go way up in price..... With this being said I told her that I would post this and see what happens....She is more than willing to pay for any of the mentioned items above plus shipping.Note: she is only 11 and has a mind of a 20 year old. LOL!! If anyone could help her out it would be great. To help out I also have some plecos I can trade or make the cost cheaper..... If you are interested in that please let me know and I will make a list up and send you what items I can trade to help her out......Thanks for looking

Do you mean purple Brigs Snails? If so.. I have plenty babies for her... They get to the size of a golf ball... .35 cents a piece! 5.95 shipping!

If its a bigger outside pond I would put goldfish, and koi in there...I've never had a pond before but friends had them and thats what they had....

I guess I left some info out on the posting...She just told me that they was these orange eye magenta briggs mystery snails. If they are those we would be more than happy to get some or a few or hand full of them, LOL the pocd is like a 100 gallon pond so more the merrier I guess....

One thing she needs to keep in mind...If there is no window to see in the pond like an aquarium, she needs to pick fish by what they look like from the top. Endlers are pretty until they are small and you only see the top. If she wants to try small fish like that, I would suggest getting some feeder guppies first to see how they fair. then you could try fantail guppies or even bettas. Large pond space means multiples for bettas. And if goldfish and koi are out of the question, maybe either cichlids or blue gill. If you are in need of any of what I mentioned, and can't find local, I can find some inexpensive ones here to send you. Any plant Ideas? various plants can help encourage fish near the surface. Also shallow shelfs too. Finally....who visits the pond can make a huge difference. Even in the city there are creatures playing in ponds. Raccoons, cats, opossums, and more. They may see it as a snack bar. Again, start cheap and build from there. Let me know how it goes.
