its a 46 gallon but i am staying away frome the big guys zig zag only get 6 inches and peacock stay pretty small too
guess ile move my kuhlis to another tank and get more cories to make up for the cleaning efforts or maybe a yoyo loach or two.
ime just worried about the wormy look that the kuhlis have going because thats the spinys main source of food.
.....I personally, would not risk it. I don't think eels and kuhlis go very well together. I know it's tempting to keep both but I would save yourself the possible loss and keep one or the other.
I know of a zig zag thats 12'' easily and have seen plenty of peacocks at 10'' so I wouldn't believe the 6'' thing though. I'm starting to notice theres way more and more fish outgrowing their predicted size for the aquariums as people are now more duplicating the good conditions that they would get in the wild.
I just looked up the zig zag and it says they get up to 16'' in the wild- go figure.
Spotted spinies grow to 12 inches and EAT KHULIS IN THE WILD. Similarly to angels, you might get away with it if you keep them together when young, but I wouldnt try.
