i will get a 100 gal corner or a 180 gal tall tank both come with stand light canopy for 450 each just wondering witch one will be best for flower horn the corner look cool but the 180 does too

Certainly bigger is better here. These fish are reportedly some of the meanest out there! I had read that they are best by themselves, but a breeding pair is a must if you want more than one. Two seems to be the limit in any size tank because of their aggression, but then again, I have only read about them and never kept them so I dont know how accurate that is. I have read in many places though that if you can get them to breed, most of the fry will not make it very long and what does survive is going to be about 90% colorless because of something to do with their overly hybrid geneology.
I guess they are very good 'feung shue' though!

If you do get some, I would love to hear about your experiences though and pics would make it all the better!

I have kept a 12" FH with several other fish. I wouldn't call them aggressive, but territorial.

I have 3 right now. They are FH x Texas cichlids. All of the offspring look great ( picked the ones I got out of the batch). They are like any other cichlid, as their temperment varies per fish. If you have a breeding pair with fry in the tank, keep your hand out:D lol

well i had the parents in a 55 then i moved the dad and the babies to a my 100 gal, hes only 6 inches so hes cool but i was gonna put arowana in with him like 10 inch when i sell all my babies then anbody think it will be cool to to put a 10 inch arowana with a flowerhorn 6 inch in a 180

the aro will outgrow the 180..so i would say its not a very good idea..they need AT LEAST 250 Gallons

I would messure the width and legth on both tanks and go with the larger footprint.
