Yabbies and goldfish

My sister has 2 goldfish and I might be getting a baby yabbie. Will they be ok togeather?

How big is the goldfish?

Normal fish tank size, probably around 3 to 4cm

They should both do fine if they are around the same size

I'm not sure of what kind of crayfish yabbies are or how big they get... In our very early days of fish keeping we added a cray from a local creek. It promptly made a cave from rocks & gravel & tried to pinch any fish that came near it. In our ignorance, we put it back in the creek after several days. We didn't realize we could introduce diseases by doing that. Now we know better!

The way goldfish like to root through substrate at the level an invertebrate like this would be, this sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Are these fancy goldfish or common/comet type?
