IMO, a 125 gives enough room for a good sized school of discus (i.e 8 or so) and then room for a pair of angels, a school of larger tetras, and some corydoras, along with better stability than smaller tanks.FreddytheFish said:Why a 125?
Well, sure, but you could pull that off in a number of tank sizes.IMO, a 125 gives enough room for a good sized school of discus (i.e 8 or so) and then room for a pair of angels, a school of larger tetras, and some corydoras, along with better stability than smaller tanks.
i just thought that 125 would be a good start for a person that has never kept discus before because a 125 is able to hold more, hence distributing any agression (discus are cichlids, so there will be some type of pecking order) better, and allowing the discus to feel more secure because there are greater numbers of the schoolFreddytheFish said:I try to ignore my post count.
