Can I have Yellow Lab and Msobo Cichlids in the same tank (125 gallons)? I have someone that is offering me 6 Msobo Cichlids (1 male and 5 females) about 2.0" long. I currently have 6 Yellow Labs in the tank about 1.5" long. 3 of the yellows have eggs spots (assuming the eggs make them male) and the other 3 I believe are female. If they can live together, what ratio of male/female should I have for the Labs (2:4 or 1:5?) and is 1:5 for the Msobos alright? Can't find alot of information on Msobo's. Can anyone point me to a good link on Msobo's? Thanks!

They can live together but you might have trouble with cross breeding. As long as you don't do anything with the fry it'll fine.
Also egg spots are not an indication of gender. yes males have egg spots but some females have them as well. Labs aren't too picky about gender ratios so as long as one isn't getting really beat up I wouldn't worry about it. The 1:5 ratio is great for the msobos since they are a little more aggressive than the labs and will have less tolerance for extra males.
