Im in the process of fishy cycling, and i seem stuck.

my readings have been this for a week or so now with NO change
ph: 7.5
ammonia: .25
nitrite: .25
nitrate 5

should i just wait it out longer? or am i "stalled"

no, no source of other filter media.

and im not dosing with ammonia....im doing a fishy cycle

I've only done 2. As I understood it I only do them when nitrites or ammonia get above .25

also if it helps...
the highest i've seen ammonia is 2..it went down to .25 basically overnight

nitrites went upto around 2 as well...same thing...went down to .25 overnight a week ago and here we are.

nitrates have not gone up at all

Don't worry, things sound like they are progressing. As long as your tap water does not have any nitrates you are making nitrates. Another couple of weeks and everything should be good.

i just tested....ammonia still at .25, but nitrites are between 0 and .25, and nitrates went upto 10!

looks like im gettin somewhere
