Yet another stupid question....

Just tried putting the thermometer on (one of the normal, metal w/ little glass-tube w/ red liquid; hang on the side deals) and it won't fit because the lip on the tank is too big. Can I just stick it in the tank? Or does anyone have any ingenious ideas on how to hang it?

Yes you can put it in the tank.

Or pick up a glass one with a suction cup for about 2 bucks.......:idea:

or one of the stick on ones - placed on the outside of the tank - they are fairly inexpensive as well.

I'm not a big fan of those, I prefer them in the tank. Thanks, though.

Yeah, just pick up a glass one and be done with it, far more acurate IMSO. (In my stupid opinion, yeah, I just made it up, big deal )
