Thanks for the compliment Tip....

That tank is no longer setup...I had a marble salamander in there that I found in my yard...he was HUGE ! I let him go after our curiosity and interest wained.

I had some moss which I took from my yard, a fern and I have no idea what those other two plants are....lol....that small one in the middle didn't last long. It was some potted plant I picked up at PetCo.

I had clay balls on the bottom layer with echo-complete substrate on top of that for the plants. There was a layer of plastic canvas between the two layers to keep the substrate from mixing with the clay balls.

cool, ima see what kind of moss i can find.. btw how, and what do you feed em? mine just sits around all day. in water or ou of water he dose it.

I feed mine freeze dried tubifex worms mostly...rehidrated...I put it on the end of a chop stick and hold it in front of them and they gobble it up. I also feed them live black worms a few times a week and sometimes toss in flightless fruitflies.

when i try to feed mines it just stands there...how long did it take yours to get use to the conditions?
