My Lubbock's fairy wrasse was my first marine fish. He's put up with all my newbie mistakes, a tank upgrade, switching salt brands, moving the rock around countless times and the addition of other fish, corals, and inverts. Tough as nails, gorgeous and what a fun personality! Apparantly fairy wrasses aren't great 'starter fish', but luckily this one has worked out well.
My first was a Volitian Lion....he came with the tank I purchased off of someone. 12" from tip to tip whe he was all spread out. People would say to me "Don't feed him until we get there!!" He was fun to watch suck in a gold fish or two.
3 blue devil damsels buthey died within 3 days. next came two ocelris clowns but one died of ick within abou the same time frame as the damsels. Do you see a trend here?
