I have a 60 litre aquarium containing 4 guppies, 3 rosy tetras, 4 harlequin tetra's and 3 zebra danio's who have all been happ for some time. A couple of days ago, I added 2 zebra loaches which were sold to me as being very shy and peaceful. They don't appear to be very shy and i've read that may become aggresive. is this true? Please help?

Thanks for you replies. I feel a bit more at ease now. What are the dietary requirements for my loaches?

They can eat anything else. There is a very likely chance of them punching holes on plants and of course, veggies are also part of their diet.

60 liters is too small for a group of zebra loaches. I would prefer a bigger tank for them. 3-5 is the bare minimum number when it comes to keeping loaches. Loaches are very sociable and love to interact with their group.

Slightly higher current rate may be needed than most fish would prefer
