Zebra question

I found a baby zebra in my tank yesterday (about3/4"), it has to be either an albino red top, or a red zebre (the orange ones) as these are the only fish I have multiples of, my question is how often do they cross-breed and what kind of brooders are they? and how many in a typical clutch?
I have 2 albinos , and 3 reds . I'm sure 1 albino is male and pretty sure 1 of the reds are male. Neway... all help is appreciated.

They will cross breed easily especially if there are few females and if they are closer related (like 2 zebra types). Mbuna are mouth brooders and will hold the eggs until the hatch then release them after about 3 weeks. The size of the batch can vary, when my ice blue zebra bred she released 11 fry and she was about 3 inches long at the time. Hope that helps. If you have predatory fish in the tank then few fry will survive.

My ice blue zebra male is responsible for 2 fry from my female rusty. I believe he is also responsible for 2 fry from my female socolofi. My tank is mixed though. I dont have enough of the same fish.

Yes, I have a few predators. I only have one fry in the tank, and I'm surprised it's made it this far.
This would explain why over the past couple weeks most of my fish have been in the general area where I found the little guy, looks funny when you have about 15 fish on one side and 7 or so on the other side. thanks for the replies. I can always count on AC!
