Worms turning snails into zombies, controlling their brains, making them climb a tree high enough for birds to eat parts or them, so the worm eggs can grow in the bird, come out of its poop, get eaten by other snails, hatch in the snail, and the process continues.

Straight out of what would seem to be a science fiction novel.

they do this to ants too! they make them climb up on blades of grass so the rabbits can eat them, and then the rabbits "deposit" the eggs from the worm (they arent digestable) all over the place.

Let's not forget kuri kuri, or laughing sickness. Causes the infected person to giggle, laugh, and chuckle in ever increasing attacks.
