went to feed my nicaraguans and a jewel and i didnt see the jewel cichlid show up for chow time. so i looked deep into the sword plant and there is my 1 inch jewel with 1 inch antennae sticking out of his mouth. i know the nicas like the ghost shrimp when they can get them, but this was more than a mouthful for the little guy. was going to ask if i should net him and remove it, but of course, my dsl was on the blink. now that i'm back on line, he's fine. not sure if he ate it or changed his mind.
