Just fishing for info here, but has anyone seen or have practical knowledge of the new marineland multi-stage cannister filters? They seem to come in three sizes, a C-160 (30g capacity), a C-220 (55g capacity), and a C-360 (100g capacity). I've seen them at petsmart.com and ebay, but haven't seen any in a lfs yet.

I agree that they are on the pricey side right now, but so were the 05 series fluvals when they came out. I'm guessing as the marineland cannisters are out longer they will come down in price. It just seems like an odd departure away from the bio-wheel for them. I mean you could probably add a bio wheel to this filter, but with the bio media already in the filter there shouldn't be a reason too. I'm just wanting to see some reviews or hear from people who have tried one.

Fancy lookin'. But for $190 (for the larger one) I am guessing youd be better of getting an Eheim 2026 for $180, or XP3 for half that price. I hope the prices will drop some as these are out for longer.
