Keep an eye on the Venustus and Calvus/Compressiceps. Venustus grow fast, Calvus grow slow. Venustus are strong active fish, Calvus like relative calmness. Hungry Venustus eat fish, little Calvus are bitesize....you get the idea.
A Calvus/Compressiceps that's too big to eat should be ok though.
yeah i know that now. i bought most of the fish before i did any research. i'm getting ready to set up a 30 long just for the brichardi,calvus and compressicep. i might add one more to that mix not too sure yet.
I agree. Something neat you could do is create 2 large rock structures at both ends that run perhaps 2/3 of the way up the back and sides. This would leave a nice sandy playground right in the middle. It would also help cover up your intake tubes a bit.
