i live across town from armkes. and i am thinking about getting a nice little cat. my $ limit is $30. which one on this list would you choose? why?

What kind of tank is it and what size is it? That'll help out alot. Otherwise I'm a big synodontis fan, so I'd try something new, like the S. caudalis. Never had one of those. Hey, that's a nice site. Has anyone else out there had any luck ordering from these guys?

I would recommend Synodontis petricola - it's a smaller, very peaceful cat. I've got one and have had no problems with him. Very beautiful fish!

If you do get a Petricola, you should 3 or more... they like groups... Also, they do like to hide during the day. They WILL come out in the light, but not as much as , per say, a goldfish :)

Oh, wait again, CatFISH? :D
I like the UDCs: Synodontis nigriventris Nigeria—MS F0............... 6.00 ea.
A few of those would make for a very interesting tank, IMO.
