Aulonocara tankmates

looking to stock my 125gallon tank with some Peacock (Aulonocara) species. What would be some acceptable tankmates for them??

besides other aulonocara, most haps will work(placidochromis, protomelas, scieanochromis, copadichromis). I have a nice mix in my 75 with aulonocara and haps. Check out my website for pics and tankmates(the link is in my sign).

wow that's a beautiful tank!! are those live plants? is so what are they?

I guess my question is could I get away with stocking the Aulonocara tank with some Brichardi & possibly a Frontosa?

Any of these make suitable tankmates due to their nutritional requirements and temperament:

Labidochromis (any kind)
Cynotilapia (any kind)
Protomelas
Copadichromis
Rusty, i.e Sprengerae
Julies
Altolamprologus Compressiceps/Calvus
Lamprologus leleupi
Lamprologus brichardi/daffodil
Lamprologus Tretocephalus

I would only keep a single brichardi unless you want to breed them - be prepared because a mating pair can get a little feisty. A Frontosa would be ok with the above, but remember they get large and you would only want a single in there too, unless you're prepared to deal with the potential turmoil of harassed females or males beating eachother up. You have a big tank so it would probably take some time for things to really get out of hand. Plenty of rocks would also help.
