I'm dosing more iron than ever at this time and am considering using a test kit. If those of you that do could respond with the type of kit you use and your thoughts on it's accuracy I'd appreciate it. I've heard good and bad things about them and would like some feedback.

Len, it's sad, but the only things I've heard about that test is they aren't accurate.. Maybe someone found a good one out there???
Yeah Joe, I've heard the same. Not sure that water changes re-sets the Iron values or whether there's a residual buildup over time. Iron is going to be an important part of the "Red" plants that I intend to start growing.
Ok, boys and girls. We need some feed back on Iron Test Kits.

I've got a Hagen that test for un-chelated and chelated iron. I have only used once or twice though. I have laterite but I do dose seachem iron after every water change and a half dose halfway through the week. My supposed red melon swords are definately red, but not melon shaped!
