What is the best subtrate to use for a frontosa tank. I have heard that it is good to use sand but do not know. Could someone explain the pros and cons of the different subtrates used for a frontosa tank.

Thanks in advance,

I can just imagine the negative feedback from this, but I especially like the crushed coral sand(it'd be my first choice). It's natural, comes in varying sizes and colors, and keeps the pH at a nice level for frontosa. I'd say most sands are fine, except for silicas (just heard heard negative stuff, never actually had any bad experiences with silica).
