Anyone heard of a Peru Puffer?

They look almost like red eyes minus the red eye.
Any ideas on these?

Nah, I don't think it's a south american puffer.
I haven't actually seen it, but the LFS has them in stock, so I should have a better report later today.

Sphoeroides lobatus would be my other bet. If you could post pix, it would be helpful!

Peruvian puffer is an alternate common name for Colomesus asellus. Which, of course, has nothing to do with names attached by wholesalers and LFS. After all, what does Peru have to do with Souith America? :rolleyes:

I'm going to guess that you're being sarcastic, so I'll leave it unsaid that Peru is a nation in South America. (A little sarcasm on my part! :D)
