Fine bubbles from Skimmer

I am really starting to get annoyed by fine bubbles comning from the output of my venturi skimmer (Azoo Tri-super). They get carried all over the tank and from a distance it appears my water is full of particles. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah, I get a lot of little bubbles making their way into the tank, clouding up the water, and annoying the heck out of my fish. Plus, the snails seem to hate it! I have a skilter 400, so I have found that running the filter with a medium make the bubbles much more reduced. Aside from that, I just operate the skimmer intermittantly so that the bubbles clear out.

Put something for the water to fall onto before entering your tank, like rocks in a waterfall. If you have a sump, moving the skimmer to the sump will also work--the bubbles shouldn't make it to your tank that way. If not, then you should be able to reduce the flow so the bubbles don't make it that far, but keep in mind that the little tiny bubbles are why the skimmer works. Big bubbles won't pull as much gunk out.
