Ryan - I'd like to take a second to ask you a couple of questions, some specific to you, others just general questions.
1) What is your location? - always a good thing to include when advertising things for sale.
2) Are your fish a result of home breeding or are they coming from a commercial operation?
3) When I've checked into having fish shipped, I realize that unless you place a very large order, the price of the shipping often outweighs that of the fish. Most places charge 'by the box', no matter how many fish (within a certain limit) it contains. Can you enlighten us all a bit about how fish are shipped, the approximate costs, etc. The reason I ask is that here, within the classifieds, folks often advertise a fish or two, and someone wants to know if it can be shipped. If they had a ballpark idea of the cost, they wouldn't be interested in the first place! While the fish may be a bargain, the shipping completely negates it.
If you can shed some light on how fish are shipped, the cost (roughly), as well as WHY it costs that much, you would be doing me and the rest of our members a great service. In fact, you may be able to give me some info that I can include in one of my 'sticky notes'.
