Just got two new bulbs........

and I about died when I turned them on. One is a actinic 03 blue and when they say blue they mean blue. The other is a marine glo by hagen. Combined they make my tank look like I'm treating for ich or something like that........Is it normal to have a marine tank to have this much of a blue appearance?

Usually you have one actinic bulb and one 50/50 or other full spectrum bulb. It really depends on what you're keeping as to whether or not that'll be ok, but unless you have corals all blue is just fine. Two actinic bulbs...that'd be pretty blue....

Thanks Voodoo. I took back the coral life bulb and bought a life glo from hagen. It looks a whole lot better now. I also went on ahead and ordered a dual strip. So I'll probably get a 10k as my third bulb.
