I'm gonna guess operator error..:)
Due to "t" having seniority, "u" would make less money and would have to work harder and longer hours with less benefits. "u" does not view this as fair and just plain refuses to work. However, the really unfair part of it all, is that "v" now has to do his job and the work of "u" while "t" still gets all the credit.
