I have 2 pearl danios and 3 zebra danios. The 3 zebra danios are all similar shape, long and slim. They are obviously young as they are quite small, so may not have developed their adult shape (?? just guessing). The 2 pearl danios are bigger than the zebras, I would guess that they are adult.
The point is, one of the pearl danios is a similar shape to the zebra danios, but the other seems to be rounder. It looks as if it has an arched back and rounder tummy. Is this normal? I thought one of the pearls may be male and the other female, but am not sure whether the difference would be this noticeable. The 'rounder' pearl is just as active (I should say so!!) as the other danios, so seems in good health. Should I worry about this fish or not?
