Hi everybody, Ive had my sw tank cycled for anout 2 weeks, and started addding corals and fish a week ago. I have a pair of perculas and I noticed the female had a couple of small white dots, or maybe just one. I cant remember if she always had this spot or if its something new. It is kind of near the fins, which I hear is typical in ich, so I am kind of worried. IM wondering if I should wait and see if more spots show up, or make a decision and take immediate action....

Personally, I'd take immediate action.

That is, if you like your fish

See my thread on QTing fish.

Of course, I'm still in the 'running scared' stage. ;)

would do a water change as well...always remember when fish get sick it means something is off and weeking their immune system.

Try feeding your fish food that has been soaked in crushed garlic. The garlic will help boost their immune system.

add a cleaner shrimp They can take off the cysts (sp) from the fish.
